Maxim Creates Upscale Lounge with Branded Homeware Lines
New York, NY (March 9, 2006) - Maxim Living, the branded home products division of the #1 best selling men's lifestyle magazine, is turning up the heat with its expo debut at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago from March 12-14.
The Maxim Living showroom, designed for the modern day 25-35 year old male, will emphasize home, work, and play by creating an upscale lounge featuring items from its various branded lines of furniture, bedding, and barware. Maxim Living's branded lines represent a complete lifestyle experience and create the ultimate living space for men.
The furniture ranges from contemporary metal and glass groups to finely handcrafted traditional wood-layered veneers with ready-to-assemble items such as entertainment centers and office furniture. The bedding line includes linens, bath accessories, and comforter sets that are over-sized and designed in modern contemporary patterns, appealing to both men and women. The products from the barware line include all the tools needed for a striking home bar, including corkscrews, shakers, strainers, ice buckets, bottle openers, shot glasses, flasks, jiggers, etc.
Toshiba, Sony, Liberty Skis, Gibson/Epiphone/GMI have donated products to outfit the Maxim Living upscale lounge.
The International Home and Housewares Show is the world's largest home goods and housewares marketplace where Maxim Living will showcase its premium product lines to over 60,000 of the world's most important houseware professionals and over 20,000 buyers from around the world.
"Maxim Living is man's natural habitat realized," says Dennis Publishing brand development director Barry Pincus. "Since Maxim is the quintessential men's lifestyle magazine, Maxim Living allows our readers and fans to experience the Maxim lifestyle in their homes, and fully interact with the brand."
Its debut at the International Home and Housewares Show kicks off a big month for Maxim Living, which includes a big promotional event in New York to be held at month's end.
