 |
New York, NY (April 13, 2005) - Lee Rosenbaum has been named the publisher of Dennis Publishing's very successful music magazine Blender, it was announced today by president and CEO Stephen Colvin.
Rosenbaum comes to Blender from Bauer Publishing, where he was the publisher of Life & Style. Previously, he was the associate publisher of GQ, and the publisher of Talk magazine, and held management positions at Discover and US Weekly.
"Lee is a very experienced and successful sales professional whose strategic thinking, clear vision plus organization and management skills will be invaluable to our critically acclaimed and award winning music magazine Blender," says Colvin.
Blender magazine was named to Adweek's prestigious Hot List last month and was Advertising Age's "Launch of The Year" in 2002. Blender raised its rate base 20% to 630,000 with the January 2005 issue.
"For me, Blender represents a truly contemporary magazine brand targeted, ambitious and distinctive," says Rosenbaum. "Blender has leveraged its youthful energy, a journalistic sass and attitude, and a high-octane 18-34 audience across print, online and television. Blender has credibility, authority and a pretty fabulous brand perception that I feel privileged to build upon and put to work for marketers."
Previous Blender publisher Malcolm Campbell is leaving the company. "We thank Malcolm Campbell for just over four years of excellent work and sincerely wish him well in all his future endeavors," says Colvin.
