| MAXIM NAMES TIM CASTELLI AS ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER; AMY NEWMAN PROMOTED TO ASSOCIATE PUBLISHER |

New York, NY (May 25, 2005) - Tim Castelli has been named associate publisher of Maxim magazine, it was announced today by group publisher Rob Gregory.
Maxim is the #1 best-selling men's lifestyle magazine in the country and the world.
Tim joins Maxim after spending over a dozen years at technology magazine giant Ziff Davis Media, where he was rose from a classified sales rep for PC Magazine to becoming the senior vice president, group publisher of the 100-employee consumer technology group, which generated $70+ million in revenues.
Tim lives in Riverside, CT.
Amy Newman has been promoted to associate publisher, creative services and marketing. She was previously the group services director.
Prior to joining Maxim, Newman was the president of triP Entertainment, a marketing and public relations firm where she served as a consultant on a variety of production, promotion and publicity campaigns. Previously, Newman served as Vice President of Entertainment Public Relations and Marketing at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.
