MAXIM MAGAZINE CONTINUES ASIAN INVASION BY LAUNCHING THAILAND EDITION IN DECEMBER 2004
New York, NY (September 21, 2004) - Continuing its successful rollout across Asia, Maxim magazine will launch its Thailand edition in December 2004.

Maxim is the #1 men's lifestyle magazine in both the country and the world.

The monthly Thailand edition will have a circulation of 120,000 copies when it launches. This edition marks the magazine's 25th international edition launched in 36 countries in eight years. Maxim maintains its #1 global position in the men's general interest category, with a growing international readership of over 17 million and four million copies sold each month. Last December, Maxim was named one of the top 10 influential international media brands by Campaign magazine.

The Thailand edition of Maxim is licensed exclusively to GMM Times Co., Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GMM Grammy, the largest entertainment company in Thailand.

"The development of Maxim in the Far East over the last few months has accelerated considerably and it is via our relationships with media powerhouses such as GMM Grammy that we have grown," says international licensing director Richard Bean. "We are delighted that Grammy is launching Maxim in the burgeoning Thai market and they are a very welcome addition our global family."

A spectacular launch party will be held at a premier spot in Bangkok to officially launch the new edition of Maxim.
